About Dove Press

These terms apply to goods and services supplied by Dove Press Ltd. Our business and returns address is 22 Elm Park Avenue, London, N15 6AT, United Kingdom. Contact design@dovepresspublishing.com with your quotation or order reference.

Your Order and Agreed Work

Before accepting an order, we will set out the goods or services, specification, price, currency, payment schedule and delivery arrangements. Products are currently offered by enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not place an order. We confirm the goods, total price and delivery arrangements before accepting an enquiry-based order in writing. If direct online purchasing is offered, we accept an ordinary product order automatically when the order is successfully placed and payment is successful. An unsuccessful payment or a message acknowledging an unpaid order does not constitute acceptance under this process. Bespoke work is accepted separately when we expressly confirm acceptance of the agreed quotation in writing. We will provide the agreed order details and applicable terms in a form you can keep.

For bespoke work, the quotation will identify the work included, the information or approvals we need from you and any agreed completion requirements. Additional work, changes to the specification and extra charges require agreement. If an error is discovered in a proposed price or description, we will explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on corrected terms rather than impose a change on an accepted order.

Prices, Currencies and Payment

Our base prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Where we offer a converted currency, the currency and total payable will be clearly identified before you pay. A displayed conversion may reflect exchange rates and rounding; it is not a promise that a foreign-currency amount is numerically equal to a GBP price.

Dove Press Ltd is not registered for VAT and does not charge UK VAT. We will identify delivery charges and any separately payable import charges before acceptance. The accepted quotation or checkout will set out the payment terms. Any advance payment and its amount will be agreed before acceptance. It is credited towards the price, with cancellation and refund treatment explained in our returns policy.

Proofs and Production

Before bespoke print production, we will identify the final proof for approval. Please check the exact version carefully, including Hebrew text, names, dates, spelling, layout and supplied information. The quotation will identify any proofreading or editorial services included in our work.

Approval establishes the specification for production; it does not remove our responsibility to produce the agreed work in accordance with that proof or to perform agreed services with reasonable care and skill. If you request changes after approval, we will explain any effect on price or schedule and seek agreement before proceeding.

Delivery

Our Shipping and Delivery policy forms part of the order information supplied before acceptance. UK courier charges are per consignment unless otherwise offered or negotiated. Consignments above 25kg and international routes are individually quoted. Dispatch and expected arrival dates are agreed for the order; a delivery price alone is not a promise of a particular transit time.

Tell us before ordering if delivery by a particular date is essential. We will confirm whether we can accept that requirement. If a delay arises, we will explain the available revised schedule and cancellation/refund options and respect any applicable legal right to cancel. We do not treat silence as consent to a revised schedule.

For consumer deliveries arranged by us, we take responsibility for goods until they reach you or your nominated recipient. Please contact us about loss, damage or a missing delivery so that we can resolve it with the carrier.

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

Our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations policy explains applicable cancellation rights, personalised goods, services, digital files and business orders. It will be supplied with your order information. There is no blanket rule that all sales are final.

Personalised goods are identified before ordering; their change-of-mind treatment does not remove fault or non-delivery remedies. A cancellation charge, where legally permitted, must be properly due, explained and calculated fairly, taking account of costs saved and avoiding duplicate recovery. Where the law requires a full refund, that requirement prevails.

We obtain any legally required early-service request or early-digital-supply consent separately and confirm it with the order. Acceptance of these general terms alone is not treated as a waiver of cancellation rights.

Materials and Intellectual Property

You retain the rights you hold in material you supply. Please ensure you have permission to provide that material for the agreed work. You permit us to use it for the purpose of completing that work. This does not grant us unrelated marketing rights or transfer ownership of your material to us.

Any transfer of copyright, licence to use commissioned artwork, supply of editable source files or permission for reuse of Dove Press material must be stated in the agreed order or a separate written agreement. We do not use these website terms to assume ownership of all commissioned or client-provided material.

Problems and Responsibility

Please tell us about a problem, providing enough information to identify the order and explain what has gone wrong. Photographs or samples can help where relevant. An internal reporting procedure does not remove a legal remedy.

Goods must meet applicable legal standards and services must be performed with the required care and skill. Proof approval does not remove our responsibility to meet the agreed specification and applicable legal standards. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any separate business limitation must be expressly agreed and legally effective.

Business and Overseas Customers

Purchases for business purposes may have different cancellation and remedy rules from personal consumer purchases. We will identify any agreed business terms before acceptance. An organisation’s name or email domain alone does not determine an individual’s legal status.

Overseas orders are subject to the agreed delivery route, charges and applicable mandatory laws. Choosing the governing law below does not remove protections that cannot legally be excluded in the customer’s circumstances.

Privacy, Complaints and Changes

Our Privacy Policy describes the site’s handling of personal information. Please contact design@dovepresspublishing.com about a complaint and tell us the outcome you seek. You may request a copy of the terms and policies in a form you can keep; contacting us does not prevent other lawful remedies or suspend legal deadlines.

Changes to website terms apply to future orders. They do not automatically rewrite an existing contract; any necessary variation to an accepted order must be agreed or otherwise permitted by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. For consumers, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in a court available under applicable law. We do not require every overseas consumer to bring a claim exclusively in London.
